FOR COACHES AND INFO SELLERS
Fill your list with buyers by running 'lazy' ads at a slight profit...in an hour a week.

“65% of the people on my email list are buyers.”
Nick Bandy
Lazy Ad Funnel is my training on the small, boring ad funnel that grew my list from zero, with a low-stress funnel anybody can run in about an hour per week.
In early 2024, I wanted an email list.
Really badly.
I wasn't going to blog for three years and hope.
I didn’t want to go on podcasts.
I didn’t want to beg on Reddit.
And list swaps need a list. Which I didn't have.
(OK, I did ask my wife and my dad to subscribe. They both said yes.)
So I ran ads.
Every "guru" out there said ads are too complicated for a beginner.
I was a beginner. I ran them anyway.
I had no trust. No proof. No audience.
Unless you count my wife and my dad.
Within two days, I had an ad funnel breaking even on a paid product.
I kept that same funnel on for over a year and a half—ancient in advertising time.
Every person it brought in was a customer. Not a lead. A customer.
For the first year I emailed my list, more than 95% of my readers either bought a product through the ad, were leads who found my business after seeing my ads, or were referred to my list by someone who saw my ads.
Without running this simple, low-stress ad funnel, I would have no list. I’d have no business. In all likelihood, I’d be working a 9-to-5 right now.
The receipts
Here's my first Lazy Ad Funnel, lifetime, by Meta's numbers:
- 👉 $36,842 spent
- 👉 1,245 customers
- 👉 $4,053 profit
Yes, Mark Zuckerberg paid me $4,053 to fill my email list with buyers.
Look at what the ads were actually doing for my list. One month, Facebook paid ME $315 and gave me 56 new customers.
Keep that pace for a year and it's over 600 people who already pulled out their card for you. Not leads. Not freebie seekers. Buyers.
And they all land on your list.
So when your next launch comes around, a chunk of the people reading your emails have already paid you once.
And what do you think 56 customers per month might want to do after reading your emails?
You think they might wanna…buy more stuff? Possibly?
Meanwhile, your list grows every week. Without posting. Without list swaps. Without giving away another free PDF.
The funnel ran at $50 to $150 a day for over a year.
The front end only has to cover the ad. The buyers are the prize.
All these people getting crushed by Zuck on their ad campaigns are trying to profit ON the ads.
No. Not unless you’re a media buying genius.
I don’t want to leave my success up to whether I’m a genius or not.
I’m lazy, and I think you might be too.
You don't need a new list. You need new customers.
Grew a list of 1,900 people. Made $400 from them. Did the math. Wanted to cry.
⬆️ That's what a list built on freebies looks like.
You post the value. You send the value. You pay your email tool every month to store the value.
Chirp. Chirp. Chirp.
🦗
It's not you.
People who joined for something free are waiting for the next free thing.
Free subscribers tend to stay free subscribers.
Someone who has already paid you $25 is a different person.
Even someone who has paid you ONE dollar is a different person.
Freebie seekers and buyers open the same emails. They read the same sales pages.
The difference is that the buyers are far, far more likely to buy again.
How the Lazy Ad Funnel works
The goal is a constant drip of customers into your business.
Plip. Plip. Plip.
“Someone turn that sink off!” shouts Mark Zuckerberg from his palace.
No, Mark.
It’s not stopping.
We’re siphoning ALL of your Facebook & ‘Gram users into the loving embrace of our email lists.
Four parts:
- 👉 A small paid offer between $7 and $47, with no-brainer bumps and upsells that cover your ad costs.
- 👉 Stupid-simple lazy ads. We sketch out a tiny handful of lazy ads that are so simple, there’s no way they could possibly work — yet they do.
- 👉 Click-by-click campaign setup — the least technical path to get your ads running ASAP.
- 👉 A tiny weekly routine to keep your buyers flowing that you can handle over a cup of coffee.
Why get this?
- 👉 Fresh buyers every week. You won't get rich off the front end. But every week adds people who already paid you. Imagine how much stronger your next promo could be if half your readers were already customers.
- 👉 Your list grows without you posting, swapping lists or giving away another freebie.
- 👉 Kill your freebie addiction. If your list is big but won't buy, it's time to supplement it with some bona fide customers.
- 👉 Sell your coaching and bigger offers to people who already bought from you, without turning into a full-time ad manager.
- 👉 About an hour a week once it's running. Or hand the weekly check to an AI agent.
- 👉 No agency. In my best month on Upwork Domination, I hired one. The next two months were my worst. So I fired them, put my own setup back…and it worked again.
- 👉 Low-ticket math doesn't work? Sure it does. Otherwise I'd be bankrupt with no email list.
- 👉 All of my best performing ads, broken down for you to copy.
What's inside
Before you spend $1
- 👉 Your break-even number, written down before your first sale. How much you can pay Meta for a buyer and still have the ads pay for themselves. (Hint: it's NEVER just your front-end price.)
- 👉 A front-end offer that passes three 'cash pop' tests. My first digital product made zero sales at $7. My second launched at the exact same price and sold above break-even for a year and a half, on lazy ads. The three 'cash pop' tests every front-end offer of mine has to pass now. (You can build something that passes all three in a day.)
- 👉 Offer Alchemy (normally $97 — yours free) digs out an entire funnel's worth of offers from the stuff you already have sitting around, and tests how likely they are to sell.
- 👉 I sold the same Upwork guide at four different prices, from $9 to $47. What happened at each price…plus the price I'd pick for YOUR first product.
- 👉 How to build a 'no-brainer' order bump that over 80% of buyers pick — like the one on my Fun Auction funnel that 80% of my buyers picked.
- 👉 The upsell almost nobody buys that I put in every funnel anyway. (One yes is worth 80 front-end sales.)
- 👉 How to sell an upsell you haven't built yet… ethically and profitably. 96 people pre-ordered one of mine. About ten ever asked where it was.
- 👉 How to make money from the people who click “NO” on your upsells.
Launch week
- 👉 Simple ads you can make in 5–10 minutes each (or just hand AI my blueprint and get it done instantly). Text on a plain background. A handwritten note. A blurred screenshot.
- 👉 Which of Meta's best practices to switch off before you publish. The Meta settings that can totally rewrite your ads without your consent — and which ones to keep on so your campaigns perform better.
- 👉 Kill rules, written down before you launch: the exact dollar amount where you should turn off ads or know when to test different angles. Plus the false signs of a good ad that aren't actually great. (A great click rate on its own doesn't count. My highest-CTR ad never sold a thing.)
- 👉 The “Last Chance” ad that sold Upwork Domination, word for word, compared to a softer version that barely sold a thing — and how to reverse engineer this for your campaigns.
Once it's running
- 👉 The weekly check sheet you can run in about an hour (or hand off to any AI agent), and the three-word rule that keeps me from wrecking a funnel that already works…even when I think I can make it better.
- 👉 The cart emails that brought back 36 of the 193 people who walked away from my Upwork Domination checkout.
- 👉 How long a free subscriber has to make their first purchase before the odds they'll EVER buy drop to virtually zero. (I got that number from my own list. It's the reason I skip the freebie step completely.)
- 👉 How to pick the next offer your buyers see after your funnel to keep them buying from you.
- 👉 The Cheat Sheet and Checklist: the whole funnel on a few pages, so you never have to dig for answers.

Questions?
How much do I need to spend on ads?
You’ll be able to test your campaign for $50–$100, depending on the price of your product. Once it’s working, I ran mine at $50–$150 a day.
I'm not technical. Can I do this?
The setup is click by click. We test the funnel before you spend money on ads. There’s no complex targeting rules. The ads are so simple, AI can make them for you while you eat a bowl of ramen.
Do I need a big list or an audience first?
No. I started with no list. (Unless you count my wife and my dad.) The funnel is how you BUILD the list.
Already have a list? Even better. This funnel adds buyers to it, instead of more freebie seekers.
I already have a list. Do I have to change what I'm doing with it?
No, leave it alone. You can start a new one if you want, but why not just pump buyers into your current list with the Lazy Ad Funnel?
How much time does it take once it's running?
About an hour a week. If you manage it with an AI agent like I do now, it’ll take even less time.
To get set up, give yourself about a day.
If you need to make a product, give yourself a couple days.
Is this passive income?
No. The ads at least pay for themselves — and preferably run slightly profitable — and you still email your buyers.
What happens after the front end breaks even?
Your buyers are on your list. You email them about your bigger offers, the same way you email everyone else. That's where the bigger money is.
What's your refund policy?
Because Lazy Ad Funnel is delivered digitally, all sales are final.
Turn on your Lazy Ad Funnel
A small offer. Ads that cover themselves. Buyers dripping onto your list, every day. Then you email them.
P.S. 65% of the people on my email list are buyers. This is the funnel that put them there.
