This evening, I taught my wife a sick “hack” I’ve been using to burn fat in record time.
And you, dear reader, can use this exact method for something far more lucrative than fat loss.
I call it the Gear Shift Triple-Tap, and here’s how it works.
Faster, Smarter, or Just Delusional?
I was perched on a barstool at the kitchen island, fresh off a work session and feeling peckish.
“Honey! What’s for dinner?” I called over the plop-sizzle of food hitting lava-hot peanut oil.
“Spring rolls!” she shouted back. “Dinner will be ready in 30 minutes. Why don’t you exercise while you wait?”
“I will,” I said, before getting completely distracted by my computer background.
Windows had just swapped my view from rolling Thai rice terraces to a jagged coastline—white cliffs plunging into a turquoise sea.
“Honey, do you want to visit the Cliffs of Dover?” I yelled.
Shhhhh-FWOOSH—another batch of spring rolls met their sizzling demise.
“What?” she yelled back. “Why don’t you exercise before dinner’s done? You’re running out of time.”
I smirked. “That’s where you’re wrong, darling. Earlier I learned a way to burn calories twice as fast, so I only need 15 minutes.”
Nhu turned away from the stove, spider strainer in one hand, fistful of spring rolls in the other.
“What nonsense are you talking about right now? Are you high?” she sigh-shouted.
I tapped my temple. “Not in the slightest. Have you ever heard of…”
SSSSssssss-POP!
Spring roll IEDs detonated.
I took a deep breath.
“2x speed?”
Nhu blinked. “What?”
“2x speed.” I repeated. “Lately I’ve been watching marketing videos at double speed to save time. I figure…it’s gotta work for exercise videos too, right?”
…
…
POP!
“That’s…” she trailed off.
“That’s just…genius. Good job, honey,” she sighed, returning to her spring roll jacuzzi.
I thought it was pretty smart.
After destroying 39 or whatever spring rolls, I fired up my videos again (marketing, not exercise).
Ever since I discovered this “secret” YouTube setting, my knowledge consumption has shot through the roof.
But here’s the real kicker—
The biggest “growth hack” for your business isn’t speed.
It’s repetition.
Why Hearing the Same Thing Again (And Again) Matters
Be honest…
How many times have you cracked open a book or watched a YouTube video, only to roll your eyes because it repeats things you already know?
Now, ask yourself a tougher question…
Are you actually implementing the things you’ve ‘heard a thousand times?’
No. You aren’t.
That’s why I’ve sent six emails in the past month warning you about the dangers of relying on social media for business…
Yet many of you STILL aren’t taking your email lists seriously.
See, knowledge doesn’t stick just because you’ve heard it once.
You have to rediscover it, again and again, for it to finally click.
That’s why I’ll keep harping on the fundamentals until you:
- Get sick of hearing about it, unsubscribe, and continue chasing shiny objects…
- Or (most popular option)…
You finish reading this post and think:
“OK, that’s it. Let’s start making sick-nasty email money.”
In which case, Gear Shift Triple-Tap your way to insanely profitable marketing tips:
Brow glistening with peanut oil and perspiration,
